clear corners and projectors considered riced? just wondering

 

Why would they be considered rice? Especially if projectors help you see better at night.

 

Its about individuality to me. Do what you like.

 

Projectors will not help your sight in your EG at night. I had them for show. Cracked one, put stock lamps back on, ..........wow, I can see so much better at night. I even spent the money for nice Catz H3 bulbs. Burned out in 3 weeks. My $.02. Try it your self.

 

hrm..i've had my H3 lights in my car for about a year now...i just replaced them with new cuz one of them burnt out. i did pull out the ground wire in the projector and attach it to my chassis. i dont think the ground within the projectors work all that well...

never had a single problem with mine. hooked up the relay that lets the low beams stay on when high beams are on, talk about blinding!

Not rice IMO. Those "Halo" projectors are borderline though.

 

do what u like...for the love of god even oem is gonna turn into "rice"

No, but think of it this way...

Think ahead to 5 years from now. If you think you might get laughed at for something that's on your car, then it's probably rice. All those people with the clear tails thought they were the **** back in the day...

 

my point was that it is ridiculous to base your style around other people's opinions...nowadays just about everything is rice to everyone so you can never win...just do what puts a smile on your face and be happy

 

the expression "Rice" is really getting overused
now people are using it when something becomes semipopular (i.e. Jdm is rice)

 

matter of taste, I had them on for a while. i found my stock lights to be alot better in the end. My stock lights are even blackhoused and they light up better.
I dont like the Euro's though. I have a pair of vision knock off's from autodynamic.com, they look pretty

actually i would think that rice in this context would be an adjective...

 

like everyone said, it's just a matter of opinion. Just do what you want...to each their own.

 

I would love to see someone with all clears instead of altezza's any day of
the week.

 

Yeah no ****, altezzas are ugly, and a F-IN rip off, but here in WI, a car isn't considered cool unless it has altezzas, I guess my car isn't cool, and never will be.
I'd take the all clears no prob, but they don't go over to well with the po-po's here.
