What fluid to use in 5th gen auto tranny??

I have read that people use 5w 30 engine oil. Is this ok to use?? Does anyone know what they come with from factory??? Mine is low and I just need to top it up. Can I add 5w 30 engine oil to mix with whatever is already in it??? Any help would be great. Thanks

honda ZL ATF...i have used motor oil in my 5 speed but i think it would be best to use genuine honda fluid for your auto

Its ok to use oil in 5 speeds as a temporary fix but ONLY use OEM Honda tranny fluid in a auto.
