Default d16 eagle rod clearence

with a stock d16 block bored 20 over , im putting eagle rods in it and wondering if notches need to be shaved out in the block, wondering if i rly do and if i do about how much do i need to shave out???

I've already done this same thing. I had the shop notch my block, but i knotched the bearing girdle. Theres really no set amount to knotch, you just have to set the crank in the block and turn it to see how much you need to take out where ever it hits, and put the girdle on and rotate the crank to see how much to take you there.

I am doing a z6 build and i was wondering are their certain measurements for where to notch the block or girdle,,,, and do you notch both or one ,,,
