rear disk
Hey guys I got a hold of the entire rear suspension off a 90-91 rex. I want to put the rear disc on my hatch what is involed and I know everything fit, wondering if the cable fit? I read about it but it was off a 93 teg. Only thing now is the cable. Don't want to start and not finishing. thanks

The CRX cables won't fit... it sounded like you know that, but your post was slightly confusing. I used 94 GSR cables on mine. The worked great and bolted right up.
The swap is very straight forward. I used the CRX brake lines because it was easier. I'm not sure if the Civic ones will work.
Be sure to bleed the brakes well!
Depending on how you bolt the part up toward the front (Should say FR by it if the below pic shows up) of the arm on, you may run in to problems.

If you take bolt 37 out that goes in to the body of the car (up by the FR arrow, pointing the same direction, going through washer 43) and swap the comp arms, you'll run in to problems. Instead, leave the comp arm on the car, and take bolt 37 that goes in to the trailing arm out.
Removing the comp arm would be easier, but it causes problems if the nut, which slides on a track in side the car body that you can get to, pops off. You have to cut a hole in the floor.
Anyway. You're all set once you get the cables.

DO NOT take the compensator arm off if you don't have to. It'll save you from needing an alignment after too. (For those of us who get SICK of having to get their car aligned after working on it). Later, Overkll
