Default Loud click from transmission. What did I do???

I was putting the car on ramps, and I was about half way up, so I put the car in park and went to see if the ramps were aligned. They weren't, so I put the car into reverse and it made a loud clicking noise. I test drove it afterwards and went through all the gears and everything shifts perfectly.

Did I damage the transmission? Thanks

No. When you put it in park on the ramps, you loaded the parking brake (or whatever it's called) in the tranny. Then when you pulled it out of park, the brake released, giving off a clunk/click noise. The tranny is fine, but if you do that enough times, you will eventually wear out the brake. Next time you do that, pull up the handbrake before putting the tranny in park.
