So my buddy picked up a set of recaros, and we tried to get them in and the alignment on the rails was horrible. so my guess is that the seats are actually off an EK9. Maybe someone can tell me if i'm right:

First we tried putting the driver seat (japan) in the passenger spot, and the **** for adjusting the rear of the seat would hit the center console (mind you only one bolt will fit due to this.) so we thought we'd try and throw it over to the driver side and we were able to get two bolts in.. and the other 2 were well off. (the two in are the ones closest to the driver door.

Anyone know anyone who's got recaros in there del sol? My boy needs help asap. he's currently rolling around with one stock seat haha.

 

did you see if you can swap rails del sol Have there on rails diffrent froms civic and teggys

 

Really? I was told they are almost Identical to the EG.

yeah the key word there was (almost ) identical

 

Sounds like you definitely need new rails. Or you could see if you could use the Del Sol rails.
