How do I replace the oil pan gasket on my honda?
Hello, first I want to say I know nothing about fixing cars, so please excuse my poor description of my car problem, but I'll try my best.
Lately, my car has been leaking oil. Not sure where exactly. I had unscrew the bolts of the oil pan but two of the bolts I could not access to them b/c they are too cram that my socket cant get a good grip. These two screw are on the right side of the pan where it is by the transmission. I'm thinking that my oil pan was badly damage to create a difficulty accessing those two screw or do I need a special socket or tool for those two screws.
any help would be appreciated.
Without knowing the year, model or trans of your car, others here will be less able to help you.
In general it is sometimes necessary to remove the torque convertor/flywheel shroud from the lower part of the transmission housing.
