Default vtec on 2nd and shift to 5th?

would hitting vtec on 2nd gear and shifting straight to 5th cause any problems? i ask this because i randomly feel like hitting vtec and yea i dont wanna keep blasting thru gears so i go straight to 5

like i pull on 2nd past the vtec at 4.4k

and go straigh tto 5th because on a gsr hitting vtec on 2nd already puts me past 40mph and standard driving would be 5th at 40mph anyways

also would rolling at 40mph on N and shifting to 4th to slow down cause any problems either?

i usually dont feel any strain from either or any violent jerks

I would double clutch in the 2 to 5 shift to slow the input shaft. Otherwise, there is no issue.
