Default 97 Accord lx losing oil..

My 97 accord is losing oil, but how it is losing it is not at all obvious. No black smoke, no puddles, no mess under the hood. When I check it regularly, I find it gradually decreases over time, and I'm forced to continually refill it. I've had it looked at once already, though it wasn't a thorough check; the oil lines are in working order (apparently), no blown gasket, no oil in the water. I'm no mechanic, but I'm certainly perplexed. I'd like to have a better idea of what may be going on before I have it checked more thoroughly.. so I leave this for the gurus. Any thoughts on what could be causing this problem? Any responses would be greatly appreciated!

You're probably burning it away, my 96 does that. Just buy some Stop-leak stuff or use a oil stabilizer
