Turbo Feed Line

ok guys i put a turbo kit on my girls car and on my car i tap the sending unit but i was wondering why couldnt i just tap into here v-tec pressure switch??? this is on a y8 to thanks

No, not really.
Just use the oil pressure sending unit. Either that or experiment and buy your girl a new turbo after you starve it.

Actually the pressure drops after Vtec is engaged. The switch monitors the pressure and when the ecu powers on the vtec solenoid it expects to see the pressure drop at the switch. So if you feed the turbo off that port, it will have low pressure during vtec activation(higher rpm) so I dont see that as a healhty option.
well i was actually doing the feed line on my accord last night and i planned on tapping from my oil pressure sensor. I did end up doing that but i could not fit the new oil pressure gauge thing off the adapter that stealthmode gave me. Anyways i found out you can get a sandwhich adapter off ebay that just goes inbetween your oil filter and the block where it tightens on. you can run your feed off there in the future. the thing has 4 1/8 npt ports so you can run w/e else you want from there...i.e. my new oil pressure gauge
