Hi guys I have a problem with my H22a tranny.. when I put the fifth gear I ear a strange noise.. like the synchro are finish.. do you think I can adjust the cable from the shifter??

does it pop out of gear when your driving?

 

the prelude is notorious for tearing up synchros mainly 3rd and 5th first u will hear a weird noise then it will start grinding then it will start to pop out of gear and then it wont go into gear at all...ur probably lookin at a tranny rebuild or buyin a tranny...id buy one with the m2b4 code with it has a LSD...and if u decide to buy one with LSD make sure u look where the cv joints go in if u and see all the way thru its LSD if theres a pin in the way then its not

 

No the gear do not pop out.. and My tranny is LSD.. so probably I will rebuild it..

but you guys are sure it canot be only the cable

 

if its the synchros then it wil get worse over time...u can adjust the cable if u think it may help ive never heard of the cable doing that but it doesnt hurt to try
