99 Gsr Tranny Fluid****Gm syncromesh and Pennzoil Syncromesh???***
Is there any difference between the two? Gm is faily pricey while Pennzoil syncromesh is available at local autoparts for much less. Ive used Gm's and it works great. Jusy wondering if anyone has used Pennzoil's before?
Thanks in advance

Penzoil Syncromesh is not the same formulation as GM's Friction Modified Syncromesh. If, however, you find some AC Delco Friction Modified Syncromesh, that stuff is the same as the GM stuff, and the bottles you get at the GM dealer will usually just have a GM label stuck on over the AC Delco one. I would just stick with Honda MTF if you can't find the GM Friction Modified Syncromesh(it's become harder to find in some areas), since the non-friction modified stuff isn't the same thing.

Yeah i figured it would be the same thing. Being that they are both syncromesh. I want to give it a try, but a bit skeptical over the price.
. Thanks for all your input

Gm synchromesh friction modified is what i am doing this next time around. Heard its one of the best. Just stick to it if your already using it unless the penzoil is exactly the same.
