Ehh, I'd tear it down since its "out" of the car before putting it back in. Might as well, especially since its possibly been sitting without a valve cover for a few months.

i did some reasearch and contacted some police departments where car was found and they said thiefs got caught and they sold everything else and all they found is the car and the swap, thief must of sold the valve cover, i know it will run, not worried at all

How much is an ITR shell with 4lug? Still 3,000.00 or something like that!?
I'd pay 2,000.00 for the one pictured. You better pull the head and rebuild it cause their could be nuts/bolts/etc. in the motor also check the crank/bearings too. Most cars are stolen for "joy rides" too, not just parts.
