Default Mufflers

I have a 2000 accord v6 and I want to buy an exhaust but I dont have the cash. So I'm looking to buy 2 new mufflers (i have the duel exhausts) I want something to get a good sound and look alittle cleaner. Nothing crazy loud and obnoxious.
so if anyone has any suggestions on brands or types let me know.

thanks

well honestly i hate the dual exhuast on the v6 accords. you should just do single, will actually might be better and look nicer. just get a decent ebay catback.

Go with a Dyno-Max super turbo muffler. I have always liked these mufflers because they have a nice smooth sound (they wont give your honda the usually exhuast sound of angry bees being shaken all to hell in a metal can.. lol). I personally have a dynomax super turbo muffler on my car, which then feeds into a ractive straight-through style muffler. It sounds very mellow, and veeery smooth, and although a bit loud at very low RPM's, it actually quietes down at RPMs above about 2000. It will still get up and go, and get loud when you really step on it though. My accord is a 91, with a 2.2 liter, but results are usually the same with these mufflers on any car. I also dont like really loud exhaust, so thats why I like these, they still have very high flow but much less annoying and less attractive to stereotypical cops...

I also installed these mufflers on my friends Grand Prix with dual exhaust. Again very smooth and mellow, louder at low RPMs, quieter at cruising.

You can get the Dyno-Max Super Turobo's at any Advance Auto Parts for around $40 bucks each, and they usually always have 2 in stock!

Good luck!

I picked up a pair of 5Zigen mufflers. Just a bit louder than stock, not a fart can sound. My wife even likes em'.
