Default foglight question...

i have 97 civic square depo fogs.. i love em, but i alwasy forget to turn them off. my battery has died like 3 times b/c of this.

so i was thinking of how i could fix this and i thought of two things

can i wire them to my alarm .. so that if they are on .. that buzzer will go off. just like when u leave ur lights on?

and the next question i have .. i have seen ppl wire them to their parking lights.. but i was wondering if i could still turn them off and on w/ the parking lights on?

just wire them to a relay using your car's ignition power as the power source.
when you shut your car the lights will go out.

you move the plug under your dash all the way to the left (drivers side) it should be the first of 5 of the same plugs
