low profile tires

I wouldn't do it. If you want a lower profile tire, get 15" wheels (or 16s), and run the correct sized tire.

Another option is to keep your 14" wheels, but get 195/60-14 tires, which will preserve the speedo/odo accuracy (changing it by 1.1 percent, which is a very small amount). It doesn't change the sidewall height significantly, but it means a wider tire, therefore a lower profile.
If you're looking for a lower sidewall height, though, the way to do it is with bigger diameter wheels, like TunerN00b says.
