Default 2000 Accord OEM Radio Question

Two questions here

I have a 2000 LX 2 dr without a cd changer, what I would like to know is whether or not there is a plug-in in the back of the radio for a cd changer harness. I know I can just pop it out but I won't be able to until tomorrow and I'd like to save the trouble if there is not one.

Second, if there is no plug-in for a changer, I may be interested in buying the OEM radio from an EX that does have one. Any ideas on where I might find one?

Just in case you're wondering... I want to play my ipod in my car, but I do not want to use an fm transmitter and don't want to use an aftermarket head unit. With the cd changer plug-in I can use an auxiliary input adapter.

I have a 95 LX without the CD changer. My head unit does have a socket for the changer. For my model year, and probably all of the 5th gen, the head unit was the same regardless of whether the car came with a CD changer or without. Probably the same deal with the 6th gen.

Yes, your '00 LX will have a plug for a CD changer. On my '99 LX I have a trunk mounted Alpine CD changer hooked up to this port.

What auxiliary adapter are you talking about? Is there something that would give me a USB port so that I can plug in a flash drive loaded with .mp3s?

Nah, he's talking about a device that plugs into the CD changer port, tricks the head unit into thinking there's a CD changer attached, and gives you a line-in port for an MP3 player. I think you can get some adapters that are ipod specific, but those and the generic line-in ones are all I've seen.

Thanks for the help, went and got an auxiliary input adapter today.
About a 10-15 minute job.
Sounds great.
