need help suspension?

Default need help suspension?

just bought this 91 si rex....
its no gem but what is for just over a grand....my biggest problem is bad negitive camber on all four wheels however the car is at stock height...so is it bushings or what... its got new front shocks...is it A arm related? just bushings? i dont need to know by tommorrow its just i dont want to be eating through tires....thanks for the help in advance

what size are the rims on the car? if they are stock 13, 14... it should have that bad camber...

rim size does not affect camber.

Take your wheels off and look to see if there is any sort of camber kit on your car. This could be an adjustable upper arm or offset bolts.

lol No, its not true.

Camber is a function of the suspension. Think about where you camber adjustments are (upper A arm). Camber affects the angle the hub is aligned to, and the wheels bolt to the hub, so the wheel angle matches the hub angle - every wheel you bolt to the hub will match the camber angle the hub is aligned to.

Wheels do not affect camber. But depending on the width and offset, they can affect bumpsteer, and steering feel.


90teg, if you are so sure that wheels change the camber, I'd like to hear you explain how that happens.
