Default I gave my bike jaundice...

I always liked the idea yellow headlights, and I like yellow headlights on cars and sometimes on bikes, but I decided to add to the asymmetry of my bike a little further and change one headlight to yellow.
It's not for everyone. Hell, I'm not even sure if it was for me. I just needed to change something. I may be going naked soon so this might be temporary anyway.
(I apologize for the quality. It's rough not having photogeek around anymore)

I love it

dig the asymmetry... first saw this done on a repsol 1000RR (single yellow HID, single white HID) and thought it was awesome... personally i wasn't sure it would work well with anything other than a full-fairing sportbike, but it doesn't look bad on yours (thanks in large part to the offset stripe)

question: how much did you shell out for the gear indicator?

I'm liking it. Might have to see how my RR would look with jaundice.

This may sound dumb, but what exactly do you do to make the headlight look yellow? I google'd it, but only came found how its a medical condition. It might look better if you had the full farnings, but it looks okay. Buell headlight setup for the future? Everytime I see your bike, it makes me want to buy an SV.

It's actually just a yellow sticker from stickercity.com
They sell kits for all kinds of different cars and bikes, and they also sell bulk film. I bought the headlight kit and some 3m protective film to guard against rocks on my chin spoiler.

I've been thinking about doing the same thing to my naked SV if I ever get around to doing the Buell headlight conversion.

I get 45mpg when I ride anywhere, and just over 50 mpg on the freeway.
