I took my car to the body shop to get repainted and also a si lip installed.
my problem... i think the shop got me an aftermarket type R look alike lip.
the lip is about 3/4 to an inch too long so to make it fit, they pulled the sides up and now my lip is on crooked. i suspect that the lip was made for a 98 civic (my car is a 99) cuz i heard that the 98 bumper was a lil longer. is this true?

 

96-98 bumpers are a little longer than the 99-00.

 

How much did the type r lip run ya? Did they mess it up on the install? I am looking for a lip for mine (98 Hatch). Got pics?

 

the lip cost 80 bucks.
its just on kinda slanted on the sides because the 99 bumpers are too short.
