because on the guage the 8000 mark is white (meaning 8100 redline)... however i keep hearing it's 8000...

because the stock tach is inaccurate at high RPM. so an indicated 8300 on the gauge really means closer to about 8000-8100

 

look at 9K it is also white (the number that is)

 

all cars will be a little diff in higher rpm. no two integs are goin to be EXACTLY the same

 

Well if you shift right before the rev limiter is, you will be shifting at around 8300-8400.

 

the LINE for 8K is white.

 

8100 is ur redline man, and 8200 is fuel cut..according to our stock tach anywayz

 

I dont know if my ECU rev might be different by my ECU is stingy with over 8100 RPMS. I can cream the rev limiter al done and VAFC never says anything above 8150. But this might be cuz mine is OBD 2.2. Who knows??

 

redline is at 8000rpm, the car will actually go up to only 8100rpm, unless of course you misshift then the sky is the limit

What the hell? You guys wanna not be ********? Yes its 8100.. Dont listen to any of them.. I would shift as soon as it hit 8000. Nothing like hitting the rev limiter because you wanna be "sure" that you get up to the max rev limit and losing the race.. hitting the limiter will mess up a race!

redline on the tack starts at 8100 meaning you can take it to 8k and thats why people say it redlines at 8k, i shift as close as possible to 8200 for thats fuel cut off. my vafc has shown up to 8500 when i flat shift but you CANNOT get the rpm's above 8200 with the drive engaged (with a stock computer that is)

 

the integra sales brochure at the dealers said with an 8200 rpm redline whatever that means
