a/c full of freon, a/c clutch comes on but air is not cold, compressor bad?
I bought another EF and charged up the a/c with new freon (i do this with all my cars, yes I know how to charge the freon) but the a/c is not cold. The freon is full to spec (not over or under) and when I press the a/c button, the blue light comes on and the compressor clutch turnes on too. It does make a little rattle noise from the compressor when I turn the a/c on so I'm wondering what is wrong. Do I need a new compressor?

If you have freon and the compressor clutch does engage and you hear ratteling i would say its bad.

did you by chance pull a vaccum on the whole system before you filled it? If not you may want to give that a try
