GOLDEN EAGLE customer service
I sent my block to them last month, they rceived it 5/5. I called before I sent it and they told me it was 3-4 weeks turnaround. I called the 4th week on a Monday and they told me the block was going out that Friday. I called the following Monday to get a delivery date and he told me the block was actually going out the following Friday. I called the following Monday and they told me it was going out Wednesday. I called today, and they tell me it's going out Monday. Not trying to bash anyone here. Please don't make any insensitive remarks towards them either. I'm just trying to see if anyone else has had this issue w/them. Thanks.
Don't worry homie, you're not the only one. I'm waitin on mine as well. I really want to have this car done this summer and i'm slammin trying to get finished. I'm just waiting on my block.

It sucks waiting for stuff, but I'm sure it will be worth the wait and knowing you will eventually receive your block as GE is no fly by night company. 800+whp, 40+ psi, GE block holding up strong here
I do agree they are a really good company. it's just driving me crazy thinking I'm gonna get my block one day and not get it.

Sure....but still doesn't equate to getting bs answers about lead times. Be honest and up front. 99% of the time, the customer will understand.

Yeah thats all i would want, if he would have told me 3 to 4 weeks to begin i would have been cool. But its when they make it seem like they are going to ship them out the next day and it takes forever when i get angry.Yes my process was delayed until my pistons got there(3 days) but that is no exception for this amount of time......I think im so angy because i forked over around 1000 dollars and have nothing to show for it........
i have been flustered with their wait times as well in the past. One thing i do, i get my machining done locally once i get it back so i don't have to wait on that stuff. The wait is horrible and sucks and i have dealt with similar stuff to what you are talking about with them, but when i receive the block...
...I'm all giggly.
...I'm all giggly.
I know i cant wait
. Alls i have to order is a few more gaskets and then when it gets here get it together and in the car. I have been driving my v6 accord for a while now but cant wait to go cruise n make some passes in the hatch.

did you forget to tell everyone about that part that:
-you dropped the box off at your engine builder six months after receving it from GE
-your engine builder opened it and supposedly discovered the bad main cap
-you have no way to know who really messed up the main cap
-GE has no use for main caps and does not need them when they sleeve a block
like i said in your last thread, im not a GE fanboy by any means, just hate it when people assume. you have no way of knowing what happend to your main cap and its wrong for you to blame anybody.

I know golden eagle is a great company but I think their customer service sucks IMO. I didn't get any block work done but I did purchase an LS Crank. I spoke to robert here by IMing him and he told me to call a certain number to order the crank. Could not get a hold of anyone had to call a different department just to order an LS Crank. I got it ordered and they took my money. Little did I know that they didnt ship the crank because their polisher went bad and it got delayed. I did get the crank but their communication sucks.

bullshit how?
the main cap was broken on purpose.
no shipping did that.
they have a good product but suck as a company.
dosent matter anymore the box came shipped with my parts [freak]ed up. woo ho GE.
everybody is a GE cheerleader. till the same thing happens to you.
probably because they finally finished sleeving my block 2 months after i sent it to them. and when they were done it took me 3 weeks after that to pay them.
they called me everyday. so for that i got a bent main cap.
