AAAAARRRGHHHH!! Intermittant ignition problem
Dang I hope someone has heard of this before - '98 Accord V6, runs perfect....except once in while, it won't start....turns over fine, but no spark at all at the plugs. Haynes manual says its the module in the distributor, but I never trust Haynes.....tried to get the dealer to diagnose...they ran the battery down trying to reproduce the problem, than said I needed a new battery...
I read that there is an ignition relay somewhere, but can't find it. When it won't turn over, there is 12V at the coil, and from the coil to the distributor...coil checks out fine. Ignitor is $$$$, so I don't want to buy it if I can't confirm the problem
any ideas?

The ignition relay should be in the fuse box under the hood or the fuse box under the drivers kick panel. Try grounding the distributor to the car's chassis directly. How does the car run when t actually starts? I would really make sure the coil is good because it sounds like the coil but you say it is good. I understand your frustration, hope this helps a little.
