Full Race x member instalation driving me nuts
So I just took off my Innovative Racing X member to replace it with this Full Race one that I picked up. Go to put the Full Race one on and have some issues.
1. The EG radiator im using will not clear the hood
2. The cross member will not line up with bolt holes
Anyone had these issues before?
And yes i have searched

make sure you intalled the crossmember first and not the radius arms. keep all bolts loose because it is a super tight fitment, tighten everything last. The EG radiator is too tall and will have to fab it to lean back. The stock EF radiator fits but with minor modification. The only radiator that fits perfect is the Full race EF radiator. hope i helped
Got the x member bolted up and you are right, have to rock the gangsta lean, shitty part is this is my daily driver! Wonder how much the damn full race radiator is
hey i'm running what looks to be a stock radiator in my crx with the full race xmember. everything fits and the hood closes fine. i did have trouble with the 3 bolts on one side, but i assumed my car had been in an accident. i pounded it up there and bolted it in...been working fine. just don't put the brackets on upside down at the LCA
Yeah I got it all bolted up and im very happy with the performance aspect of the bar. I cant run a full size radiator because im going boost next week...but now it looks like im going to shell out 300bucks on a damn radiator so there goes most of my tuning money.
I launched the car tonight and it was amazing, hardly any wheel hop and right to the point, barked the tires goin into 4th gear on a 8.8:1 bone stock b20...not too shabby lol
Ok maybe not bone stock but only has a victor x im, exhaust and intake.
The innovative bar was no where near the quality as the Full Race one. So if you can spend the extra cash i'd go with one of these.
BTW i picked this one up for 200bucks off craigslist lol

Yeah until you have to spend 300 to buy a radiator because a company designed a bar to only run their over priced one. Grr people that corner the market make me angry, and you wont like me when im angry lol
measure the space for your radiator and look up a 92 civic radiator on ebay... some of them are variying in size... with in a couple inches... dont know why... you'd think they would go stock i just picked up one that was like an inch smaller the the ef rad and it was 5/8" thick crazy... b/c im soon to do a turbo set up myself...

i've never had a fwd car that hooked up like this one with the full race bar. in all handling it feels like a truly precise machine.
also, i would try to mod the radiator location before i shelled out money for the full race one. there has to be another option besides the lean, boosted or not
