I'm on here to waste time.
By helping you, I feel better about myself, it's like walking an old lady across the road, or helping a mentally ill person off of the ground after tripping.

If you're not retarded then why make this statement? Did you actually think graphiteaccord was seriously suggesting it runs on the tears of god? Like it's going to say something other than "oil" on the side of the bike?!
Photoshoppers: we now need a picture of a crank case that says "10w40 Tears of Baby Jesus only"

OP lives near me. I really hope he doesn't plow into me.
On the other hand, I'm waiting to see a "I wrecked my new bike" thread.

no he's ridden a friends gixxAr1000000 before. not HIS bike, but it sorta counts, so the 1000rr is technically his 1.3st bike.
i'd be surprised if the 1000rr is running 10-30, or that GN-4 is a 30 weight. Of course, i'm just talking out my *** and i don't want to google to know for sure, so i could be wrong, but i believe the bike takes 10-40 and GN4 and HP4 are 10-40's.

I rocked 10w40 full synthetic in my RC51, and that thing ran hot. So if it's good enough for the RC51, it's good enough for the fireblade.
Look for some 10w40 motorcycle oil (not car oil) and some common sense.
Oh, and I wasn't 'defending' graphiteaccord. I was more supporting him.
To defend: to ward off attack from; guard against assault or injury
What you did was the internet equivalent of flailing your limp wristed arms about meaninglessly.

actually, i just use Mobil 1 10w40, or castrol GTX 10w40 (depending on the bike) these days.
