Default My new bike!

So I gave in and got, yet, another bike. This will be the 4th sportbikes in 5 years.

History: '04 Red/Black 600RR, '06 Raven R6, '06 Blue R6 and finally...

'08 White 848!

This is my first Ducati and I'm very excited about it. It's also my first venture from 600cc's. It's alot of first here. Anywho, those who've had previous Ducati's:

1. Would you guys recommend a certain online retailer that carries accessories for it?

2. Any experience or advice with them that I should pay particular attention to?

I don't have pics yet as I'm awaiting for it to be shipped from a dealer trade from another dealer. But here's a stock photo if no one knows what it looks like. I'm so happy and excited!

Thank You Leo! I'll get pics and riding impressions up as soon as I can. I didn't know how hard it was to get one of these things. This is the first week of the wait and I probably won't see it for another two weeks.

After seeing one in person, I must say it's one of the better looking bikes out there right now. My opinion of course. It just flows really well. After many years on a motorcycle, I know it's overkill. This decision was based more on aesthetic than anything. It's just sooo sexy.

lol! you don't say? I have my red/green color deficiencies but it's still red to me.

Thanks guys, I'm really excited. This will be used mainly for cruising on the weekend. I'm getting too old for spirited riding. I hope this doesn't kill my back.

Only if you keep your R6 and I can pop wheelies on that.

Perhaps a Honda Goldwing would have been a better choice?

I'm jealous, don't mind me.

D00d, the only reason I was contemplating selling her was because I had no-one to ride with. However, now that you're getting a bike, I think I'll keep my R6 fer now.

Nice selection. Care to say what the OTD price was? I really want a midsize twin, but I dunno if I can justify the price.

I'm so jealous. I'd get one for my next bike but I can't justify spending that kind of money on a bike.

I'm so pissed about this, and also jealous

In Canada an 08 RR is $12,249, for an extra $100 on that price I could have ridden off on that.

Super nice man! congrats

It's not as bad as you think. The bike retails for $12,999 and even with the price bump recently you can get it for $13,498. If you're still curious about OTD, just send me a PM.
