Either will work just fine for your swap when running obdI. There is also another jdm version of obdI ecu which is also the same, the PR3 found on 91-92 model integra's, i have one myself.

the USDM version is worth significantly more.
You may want to sell the USDM version and pick up another JDM version.

There are slight differences, some sensors and slight fuel/ignition map changes.

Why is that? I have 6 different ecu's here, and have played with them, i can't tell any difference in performance.

I do believe the is a slightly different map for the jdm model because their B16A makes 10:4 compression. The only other difference is that the ecu has a speed gov at approx 112mph

USDM version was produced for the 93-95 DelSol VTEC... only.
JDM version was made in 91-94 (yes they are one year ahead) in several different cars and those models were more widely produced.

Cali people with B16s NEED this ECU or a PR3 to pass emissions testing.

the differences would be due to the higher compression, and less emissions regulations.

But really, the differences would be more noticeable at WOT and probably only dyno evident. (unless your butt dyno is calibrated really well.)
