Default Difference in Axles-4 spd to 5 spd?

I need to know if there is a difference in the axles from a 5 sp to a 4 spd tranny?

I have went from a 5 spd to 4 spd(circle track car, need longer 2nd gear with 4 spd) and I need to know if my 5 spd axles will work. The hubs I am using are the same ones I was using for the 5 spd.

I thought I read by searching the inner shafts(that connect into tranny) are the same, but the outer shafts(hub side) are different? Can anyone confirm? I am having a little bit of difficulties getting the axles in..but it could have been because I was tired and not being patient!

Thanks in advance!

You have to re-use your 5 spd axles
