5 speed swap and jdm head swap. rpm wont work
Anybody can help me, we just did a 5speed swap on a 4thgen prelude, we did a jdm head swap too with skunk2 valvetrain. The engine fired already but my tach wont work and the turn signals wont work. anybody have clue?
another question is, the jdm h22 head, the water jacket that goes to the radiator dont have a sensor and my us h22 head have one, do i just swap it over?
please give advice we are trying to get this car on test and tune this coming friday.
thanx to all.

Sounds like you forgot to plug something in or blew a fuse, maybe a grounding problem? If your car is running ok without any check engine lights, then you should be getting a tach as long as your distributor is working. You can tap the little blue test wire under your hood with an AC multimeter and verify that it changes frequency with rpm and if that is working then you know your signal is ok and the problem lies elsewhere. You could also check the wire at your ecu and verify it works the same.
