Default one piece headlight

can any one show me how to convert h4h lightbulb to just h4 ...cuz im trying to put a hid kit on my car but its hard to find one for h4h so i decided to just go h4

it doesn't work to put an h4 bulb in h4h housings, even if you cut the h4h housing. The filaments in the bulb are in the wrong places and you'll have decent lowbeam but no highbeams. trust me, i've done it.

nevermind...i just read you were putting HID's in, just cut the h4 bulb to fit the h4h housing, that way you don't wreck the headlights. A nice set of sidecutters and an H4h bulb to compare too is all you need. Just snip the metal around the H4 until it's the same shape as the h4h. The only problem with this method is the bulb may not be far enough into the housing to get correct beam pattern. I am not sure how to correct that problem.

either way its going to look horrible. DA 1 piecers werent designed to have HIDs and the light output looks like ****
