Our car club will be hosting our 5th Annual Drag Races and Car show on July 12th. Incase you've never heard of it, DTPRACEWARS was started back in 2003 by D.T.P. Racing car club in Royal City WA. The event consists of legal 1/4 mile drag racing out in a private airstrip located in Royal City, anything goes just choose your oponnent line up and race. The airstrip is atleast a mile long and its wide enough to race four cars at once. This event is similar to streetracing except its a lot safer we have police, ambulances and local fire department standing by incase anything goes wrong. Last year we had thousands of people watching and hundreds of cars racing. KAIZENSPEED from Kennewick will be there with some of their cars as well as other shops around the area. There is competiton for everyone from 15sec daily drivers to 9sec race cars. Here are some videos from last year's event.
