Default after 80mph i'm scared..is it just my R or wveryone is the same

it seems like everytime i drove my R on highway as soon as it pass 80mph/120km my steering is kinda out of control, it's kinda shaking left and right, my car is shaking left and right, just a little bit not a lot, and my car is kinda fading away. is it normal ? or... i know ITR is intend to follow the road condition, but this is really scares me. i'm afraid the car is gonna losing control(coz it feels like).. my sterring wheel is really light at high speed which all my friend says it's normal.
just wonder if this is how it should be how do u guys drive more then 100 mph ?
i did tire balance just last week, so nothing wrong with the tires, except three tires went to track once but the right rear is new, for about 5month, never been to track.could this be ??

thx

well if they all were balanced - then that rules out a bent rim.

had an alignment done recently?

My car is kinda the same way, i have a broken radial belt in one of my tires. Try rotating your tires, and see if there is any difference.

Just to let you guys know, the wheel weights from the factory aren't matched up right usually. Whenever a car comes in for its first service, we always rebalance and over 80% of the wheels don't need as large a weight and in a different position as the stock piece.

Steel belt inside the tire. What you see when you wear your tires "down to the belts"

sack-who sees lots of belts.

Do you have one new and one old tire up front? If you do put both front tires to the back and the back tires to front. If you have a new and a old tire together especially up front it could screw up your steering just like you described. I have no problems with my R, my steering is smooth at any speed. Give this a try and get back to me.

Don't mismatch your tires with one new and one old. Keep tires with similar wear together especially up front.

are you saying your alignment is within spec? if not, I'd try having it realigned. alignment can make a big difference on handling at high speed.

also, you might want to try checking your steering rack for looseness.. check out this link...

good luck.

that sounds new to me.. might have it check. but my car only have 15000 km on it tho, dont think it would be this fast to wear out the steering wheel.
i'll try to get some new tires to put on and see, before that i'll just rebalance every tire and redo alignment.
thank you for y'alls help

If your tires and suspension are OK, remove your P/S. It will give you a much more confident feeling!!!
I didn't have any problems with at 150 mph...

My car's fine till about 135-140, then it still rides smooth but it just feels light like it wants to leave the ground.

You NEED to have your car re-aligned, get each side as close to spec(and to each other) as possible. The only other thing is that one of your(probably front) tires is unbalanced. I am not saying that it was mounted and balanced uneven/properly, just that the tire itself could have a problem, this does happen sometimes, some tires have manufacturing defects from the factory, its uncommon but does happen and you may get one every now and then. But first try an alignment. Hope this helps

Same here. Around 140 it starts to get a tad scarry. But anything under 120 or so it feels stable and planted.
