I recently bought a set of used Spoon twin block calipers. I now got them on the car and they are great. But they have a couple of scrapes on them that I would like to touch up with paint.

Does Spoon have touch up paint? If not, does spoon have a particular method or color published for paint touch up? Is there a particular paint to use otherwise such as model paint, etc.???

I've never heard of touch up paint... I believe the calipers are anodized

 

You mean you can't just go to the Spoon Store and get some touch up paint?

And correct, the calipers are anodized.

Opak is up here in NY , the east coast distributor for spoon , so I CAN go to the spoon store . fugger

 

I am going to have mine re-anodized silver or red

 

^ Just grind down the Spoon logo, and paint them black.

mine have been on the car for 4 years and it shows. who cares what they look like, how they work is what counts.

perfect! Then if I ever do get rid of them, whoever gets them will know they're still mine. Good for theft too. If they're ever stolen, there's no question they are mine.
