Car died, wont start back up, no spark
Had the car idlieing, pull the plug wire from each plug, one at a time, i was checking to see if there was a change in idle, just checking to see if everything was good i guess, but anyway. I got to cylinder #3, and as I was putting the wire back on the plug, it died. Now It cranks and cranks, but wont start.
When holding the plug wire to the plug I couldnt see or hear any sparking. Fuel pump is turning on. Lights, radio, etc work. This is a bseries in a civic. Obd2 harness converted to obd1 engine/ecu. Car has ran perfect since the swap a few months back. Timing belt/cam gears are all lined up fine.
Bad distributor? is there anything to check for to see if it is a bad distributor, or any other ideas? I dont know why it would just die like this, its never done it before.

i think you blowed your coil
you should never disconnect a spark plug wire when engine runing it's very bad for the coil

it might be your igniter chip, its in the dizzy. if you take a part the dizzy. its a flat looking piece where all the wires are plug into. oh did you check the coil fuse under the dash?
