egr issues???
I have an 89 crx hf that i'm having some issues with. A couple minutes after you start driving while it's warming up, it will start sputtering and bogging like its loading up. It always happens in 4th or 5th gear running about 1800-2000 rpms. if I shut the key off and turn it back on after a couple seconds, it will stop running bad. it usually only does it once or twice, and it doesn't do it at all when it's warm. I can still feel a little hesitation at that rpm range when it's warm, but it's not real bad. I've already changed the dizzy, plugs and wires, perged the coolant, and checked the idle air control valve. I removed the egr and cleaned the port as well as i could with carb cleaner. The car seems to run the same if the vacuum line is hooked to the egr or not. I checked all the vacuum lines and they are all in the right places. I can put my finger on the vacuum line to the egr and the is no suction at all. Is there suppose to be, and if there is suppose to be, what can I replace to fix it???
