where is 3geez???
Hey,
So my car has been running weird lately and i have been trying to get on 3geez to post my question, but i cant get it to work!!
Anyone from 3geez here on this forum that might know whats up?
Regardless, i think i have a fuel problem or ignition. When i start the car i can go about 15 feet before it dies. But sometimes i can go on long trips that are fine.

The main point of this post is to figure out where 3geez has gone, if anyone is here that has experience with these carbed cars i will explain further.
Thanks
Jason

What exactly dies on the car? All the electrical? Does it just shut down? More details on exactly what happens? Does it sputter to a stop? Do your gauges all die as well?
As far as 3geez, it was down yesterday, and is having a few hiccups today, but I've posted over there already.

Hey, glad to see its not completely dead. I am still getting an error message every single time i try to click the link. Perhaps tell an administrator that i am still getting this message and have been for several days now? Firefox, Win XP.

ANYWAY...
I basically get about 15 feet out of my driveway/anywhere and the car loses power. Basically bogs then dies. I suspect either fuel or electrical. I first thought there was an obstruction in the lines(filters), so i replaced several of the rubber hoses and changed the fuel filters. Worked fine for a couple days then the same thing happened. I dont think it is the filters, but just an random problem caused by something else. It seems to only happen after i turn the car off wait a certain amount of time then turn the car on and drive.
Other times(like in the morning) it works fine. I drove to class today and back. It sat for 30-45 minutes, went to start it again and that is when i made it about 15-30 feet before it just lost all power and died. Would not start. I left it for about 2 hours came back and after cranking it for a second it started. Drove it home after that with no problems.
I have also considered it might be the fuel pump going out, but i replaced it only about 2-3 years ago. When it does run, it has plenty of power even in the 3000-4000RPM range with speeds 60-70MPH.
Thanks
