Noticed something with my rpm guage
Sometimes(not alot but rarely) i decide to get lead foot and this one time I had to mash on it in order to not get hit by this one dumbass woman but what I noticed is that Im guessing my car was in the 3rd gear of the automatic transmission and instead of shifting at the 6200 redline it shifted at like 4800 or 5000 and didnt continue past that...trying to figure out what thats all about...and mind you i didnt let off my gas. My car runs absolutely fine but for some reason D3 shifts at like 4800 ot 5000ish(assuming its D3 since It did shift into another gear...i do not manually shift the gear selector)...anyone know whats up with that cause it boggles my mind

Way to be a *****. It's an automatic F with long as gears.
Stomping on it downshifts a gear temporarily and then it shifts back up - I would presume within the range you're describing.
If you leave it in D3 and continue to floor it you will eventually redline it.

allow me to dumb it down a little
-Tranmission is left in D4 as its an automatic thus not shifting it into ANY gears.
-In order for me not to get side swiped by this stupid [pejorative] I had to floor it and when it was floored...it should run to redline even if you hold it down correct? It doesnt...it shifts at like 4800-5000 whatever it was at FULL throttle.
I assume thats easier to understand. Anyone care to take a go at this....My car throws no codes except for the typical abs $700 pump bullshit but other than that the car has no issues whatsoever
