Default please help!! got boned on hydro conversion and need help

I recruited a shop in the signal hill area to do a hydro conversion on my crx. after waiting five months for him to get my parts I dropped my car off and after a month at the shop my car was only half way done. I had the car towed to a respectable shop in valencia and come to find out, this guy didn't even get all the parts. I've searched for hydro conversion threads but they all have that hasport or innovative kit. I'm changing the pedal assembly and doing it the right way but I"m not sure which peddle assembly i need and anything else needed to finish. the tranny is in the car but i just need to finish this so i can have my baby back. I've been riding an expletive train to compton every morning at 6 am and am not at all comfortable doing so. If anyone can help me without some flame I will love you forever.

here is my damsel in distress.

wait, you are trying to swap out the cable pedal assembly for a hydro assembly?

Most (me included) would say that if you are not mechanically inclined, you should just buy the hasport kit for b-series or d-series. that would actually be "the right way" if you ask me.. because you are asking for pain if you do it the other way. There are some people who have done it, but i think it involves a welder and/or some metal fab skills to get the thing to work right.

the next question is: why do you need to convert to hydro?

Hes getting it done at a shop.

As for what you need, basically you need the pedal assembly from a hydro car, your pedal assembly, a slave cylinder, shift linkage from a hydro car, and a hydro tranny... i cant remember if theres anything else.

The shop thats doing the conversion should know what they need to get it working.... If they dont, take it to another shop.

He knows what he's doing but is not the type to run around hunting down a pedal assembly etc. I have to take care of all that so I just want to make sure I know what I'm looking for.

As for the Haasport and Innovative setups, I've heard bad things in terms cables breaking and those brackets breaking too.

The reason for the hydro conv is because I'm sick of looking for cable b series tranny's and have purchased a 99 GSR trans and put the 4.75 final and an lsd. Every cable b tranny I've owned has been a pain in my kulo and its hard to find internals. This will make things easier in the long run as I see it. I've had this car for almost seven years now and am building it slowly. This is the direction I'm heading in now.

word. why dont you just simply convert the transmission to a cable tranny, instead of all the other non sense. that would be way more practical unless you like spending money.
