ok so i figured id do the lower section of the wheel well but this time the other side near the rocker panel
first i cut out what was left of the peice ,then placed it on poster board to make templates

then i traced it cut it out, then transfered it to steel and cut it out haha
first test fit (this is one of those times when i wish i had a bead roller) notice in the first pic of this peice ,the rusty one ,how it has the curve to it ,well if i had a bead roller i could get it alot closer and more stock looking then this.Even though this is just the begining of this peice i just dont like how it looks so far haha

pretty close a bit of trimming is needed and have to add the lip around the outside edge (tricky) once again beadroller
so then i noticed that some of the steel around where this patch is going to go loooks rather weak .So i once again got all in there and found more rust ,that i have to repair before i can go any further on that peice above lol Since i can not get the bottom of this patch at the right angle without having the rocker as close to perfect as i can .
the last guy just welded a patch right over a rusty corner ,which in the long run just made things worse

so yeah this sucks haha updates tomorow on this and hopefully i can solve the problem without issues
its pretty much going to be template making and sandblasting kinda day ......

thats my car that hes working on, and it didnt look as bad as it is on the outside as it really is, we had no idea what he would find underneath, trust me this has been a big headache for mitch and a big headache for me,,, so keep the comments positive guys, it will get done and when its done im confident that its gonna look sick, mitch cuts no corners and does everything very professionally and plus hes a wicked guy to deal with too...
