Default Leathers and the rain

I just got caught in a storm with my new leathers and now they are soaked. Are they going to get messed up or should I just let them dry? Leathers aren't cheap and I want to keep them nice for as long as possible so I wasn't sure if I should condition them or something.

Thanks

lay em flat to dry and condition the leathers while they're still moist.

Crumple and stuff newspapers into the sleeves and legs so they air-dry.

they will be fine just hang them up somewhere and make sure you condition them before they fully dry. If you let them fully dry itll get stiff which isnt a big deal but its harder to work the conditioner into the leather (like a damp sponge vs. a rock hard dry one) Or you can let them dry and just throw them back on again. Getting it wet and letting it fully dry then throwing them back a lot will break down the leather but everyonce and a while will not hurt it. When the leather gets wet it works the oils out of the leather which makes it stiff, then when you try to bend the leather the top fibers in the leather break and tear (now this is on a microscopic level) doing this a lot can make the leather weak and more prone to tearing. However everyonce and a while will not do any significant damage, Just remember if you get them wet make sure you use a conditioner before you wear them again.
