Default 94 honda civic cx not starting after new starter installed?

i just recently install a new starter autozone duralast starter into my car and i put every wire and tube back to where it is.
i start the car and its getting this clunk sound from the air filter box
i also took off the spark plug wires to not block my way
maybe i put the wires back the wrong way but i try all kinds of it
does anyboy have a diagram to show the firing order or a description
or is it not the problem but something else?

this is my vid of the problem on the car

What was the original problem? Are you sure the starter was the original problem? What was the reason for replacing it... more info please.

the car was off on a stop light cuz traffic was for too long and when the light was green i turn on the car and it doesnt start anymore
some guys help me push it off to a store and help me start the car by pushing and somehow the guy in the car got my car back cuz he told me to push the car and he made it work
i drive it home and once i turn it off when i turn it back on it doesnt start anymore
have to push the car a lil to start it
after that the car runs ok i can start again
then i took to autozone to check the alternator and the battery
sounds good
so i just need to replace starter

Did it make similar sounds when trying to start it before replacing the starter?

i know this might sound wierd but check the connections on the starter/battery/grounds and tap the top of the starter with a hammer, not super hard but just lightly.

This is odd, did you try to figure out where the noise is coming from? The starter possibly? Maybe they sold you a bad starter, thats one idea for now try returning it for a new one and try that, not much I can do by just hearing a small wierd clunk noise when cranking.

no the sound was not from the starter its from the air filter box
i took the new starter out and tested back at the store
it was working great
i even install the starter three times because i thought it didnt fit correctly in the car
still same problem
it wont crank and the air filter box is making a sound out of it
maybe u know the firiing order for the distributor and the spark plug wire for 94 civic cx
thanks

The clunking noise in the air box sounds like the motor tourqing when trying to start and its making the box smack against the frame. Can you take some up close pics of the starter and how you installed it? Also do you have a spare dizzy you could try? I wonder if the coil/cap is messed up, seems like it couldn't be the case if you can start it from popping the clutch but it never hurts to rule it out completely.

check your main ground, I had the same problem after I put a new transmission in, but I failed to use the factory spot for the main ground. The main ground is your actual negative for your starter.

Hopefully this fixes your problem, it took my friend 3 hours to realize that the main ground wasn't in the right spot, it's weird but it makes a really big difference.

This clearly isn't the problem because he said he can push start it...
