Help engine rattling at low RPM's. What could it be? Cam gears?
I installed JDM Type S camshafts, Jdm Type S springs and retainers about 9000 miles ago. Got them tuned and dynoed at a shop..Dynospot racing in Mtn.view. The cam measurements were 1.5+/ 0- . No problems with idling or anything. But whenever im in first gear or any other gear at a low rpm mostly below 2200, there is a slight rattling sound and then goes away as my rpms climb above 2200. I know i shouldnt be below 2200 ever, but this happens in first gear always when i take off slowly and in second or third around the same spot. Im not sure if its from the engine but its definatly from the front of the car considering i only have the cams, DC headers, and aem intake. Should i worry about this? Is it the cams or the gears? What can i do to stop this? any input would be appreceated
