Bad Alternator = Misfiring?
Because, hows that for an awnser?
Yout altenator runs your car at 14.2 volts.
If your altentor is bad it will charge at at a lower voltage, or produce lower amps.
H23 alt-80amps
H22 alt-90amps
Bad altenator produces lower amps, nothing to do with spark, unless your alt isnt even producing enough volts to run the car, even so the motor should complete your combustion cycle until your battery is dead.
No sir, I think your problem lies else where.

Thats the chain of command in your car that creats your spark, your problem lies in there.

my battery went dead today just died immediately and wouldnt do anything after turning the car off and back on, got jumped off and it was misfiring all the way home.. im kinda having the same issues as well. It just seems weird that the car would die from a dead battery and misfire like that. The "misfire" would trigger the CEL light and the car would jump for just a split second and then be fine...
