New electrical problem
89 PRELUDE SI 2.0
Ok so I have had some electrical problems lately and the main idea was the main relay so i fixed that and the car starts every time now.
So some other problems I had that the relay didn't fix:
1.)The only guage that works is my speedometer and my battery light. I still don't know what to do about that.
2.)I was also having problems getting the car to turn off. I would pull the keys and it was still running and I didn't know what was going on or how to turn it off I just thought it was the ignition switch. Well I just discovered yesterday that only consistent way to get the car to shut off is to turn the lights off. I'm not sure how this works but the only way I think they are connected is whatever makes the ding noise if the lights are left on when the ignition is off but I don't see how that would make it keep running.
Any help with either problem would be great.

Did you replace the ignition switch electric components? It consists of a wire bundle and a module that plugs into the back side of the ignition.
then it's time to break out the multimeter and get the wiring schematics for the car.
It sounds like you may have a bad/floating ground, or a short in the ignition wire. The headlights could be shorting to the ignition wire.
check the battery voltage first, though - and look at the voltage on the ignition wire when the headlights turn on and off.
