Default del sol window seal

every time i hit a bump my sol makes a squeaking sound, someone told me its the window seal. do the window seals tend to squeak? is their any way i can fix the problem without buying a new one.

yup, del sols do this. You need a tube of rubber conditioner/rejuvenator, with a high silocone content. Theres something called "back to black" from the auto parts stores, think it's mothjers or meguires ??? spelling ?? anywho, it's a thick liquid stuff, spead it on liberally with a cloth on all the rubber parts you can find, remove the top and do all the rubber there too. Should hold it for a month or two andprotect your expensive rubber parts too. Unfortunately, it doesn't last forever, every couple months you need to do it again. But it'll silence those nasty squeeks. Oh, don't forget the rear window rubbers and runners too. Sometimes if you have the seat way back it rubs on the plastic boxes, so do the back od the seats too. Oh, the little rubber "U" clamp on the bottom of the door pillar needs lubing too.
