So i went to get my oil changed at the dealership and i noticed that my oil is about 0.4 inch higher than the second hole !

Do i need to drain it out or is it okay.
My oncle is a mecanic and said it was alright !

 

Not sure exactly if it's ok or not to leave it like that. I've always been under the impression that it's best for the engine to have the correct amount of oil versus too much. There was this one time, back before I started doing my own changes, I took it into this one place and they said that there was too much. Then they suggested another service for like 70 bucks or something that would clean it out or some junk, I just said no because I just thought they were trying to squeeze me. They said something about oil pressure level? I have no idea... if you're oil looks like soy sauce, it's time to change it.

 

yeah its fine how it is , it wont mess up if its just barley over.. more oil for you!

eventually it'll burn off on its own as long as you dont flood the engine with oil you'll be fine
