I work at RnR Wheels and Tires in Montgomery Alabama. I was recently assigned to put together a carshow at Montgomery Motorsports Park. Im trying to get a feel of who would be interested in coming out. I would section off a part of the parkinglot for honda-tech.com members and other internet forum sites. This is my first time putting together a car show of this size. There will be test and tune, sound competition if i can get CKR to come out. A few vendors of ours are comming out, and i am working on getting a few local vendors to come as well. Of course there will be a burnout competition, MAYBE some kind of hot body contest. There will be, as well, prizes for different categories of the car show (Hottest import will be one, fastest show car, best work in progress, and best sleeper to name a few. What i am doing right now is putting feelers out to see who would be interested in coming out. It will be held within the next month and a half, i am waiting for the owner of the track to call me back and set up a meeting to get everything squared away. My district manager informed me if this does well, he will let me do a carshow once every three months. Suggestions welcome...


**Keep in mind that this is a rim shop. So there will be "Donks" and cars/trucks on big wheels attending as well. This is not just an import show (yet, if this one goes well i can start targeting events towards certain groups of auto enthusiast)

Bikes are welcome as well.**

The date so far is Aug 10th. I have a meeting with Jim Howard Friday morning to settle all details and what not. Once I get everything set up and squared away. I will let you guys know asap. Like i said, Im trying to get this thing underway, This is my first time putting a carshow together of this multitude. but i am sure it will be a blast. So dont spread the word just yet. he's a crackhead looking bitch. Basically stole a car from me a couple years ago, brought him to court and he didnt show. Aint seen a dime.

Cliffs:
Met up with him in the Gump. He was supposed to have cash. Took about 3hrs running around town for him to get half the cash. Begged/pleaded for me to do half now, half later. I reluctantly agreed. I kept the title, he took the car.

First day, he turns up the boost and fills it with 87 octane. Somehow he doesnt destroy it. In the first week, he has $ for a new clutch/trans but Im still out my $.

Then I got the "ignition is [freak]ed up, need help fixing it. If I cant get it running I cant go to work, cant get $$, cant get you YOUR $$" so I rode up there AGAIN and fixed it for him.

A month or so passes, still no $$. Car is broke again, half the ECU wires are cut. I go there and TRY to fix it but am only partially successful. I made it clear to him that I probably wasnt going to be able to fix it. Hell, I was using a butane soldering iron because there was no electricity.

He assures me I'll get my $ soon. Then he starts ignoring my calls (months go by) so we had to ambush his *** at a ricer meet. (we knew where he was because a friend of his ratted him out). Says he doesnt owe me any money because I broke "his "car (Referring to the ECU incident). Says dumb **** like "call the cops right now and they'll tell you i dont owe you any money).

Took him to court, he didnt show, never got a dime. Still got the title. By the time court had rolled around - from what I heard the car was gutted, turbo parts all sold off and the chassis was in a junkyard. I still got the title at home.

If you've heard anything contrary to what I just wrote, it's a lie. I bent over backwards to try and make the kid happy. Hell, he even started CRYING, yes CRYING.. emphasis: CRYING when he thought I wasn't going to let him do the half down/half later, so I caved. Big [freak]ing mistake.

Seriously doubt it. I moved back to SC in '06 like a day or two after the court date.
