b20b swap?
with the budget i am working with, i am planning to buy a b20b long block to swap in my 91 crx and later on convert to vtec. so for the time being what am i going to need besides the motor?

It's in the FAQ, just check out the B swap links. It's all the same except for VTEC wiring. Are you converting the engine to OBD0 or converting the car to OBD1?
