2008 Accord Coupe HID Question...
Sup Guys, I have a 08 accord coupe it has projectors on it but the lights aren't HID like.
So my question is do I need to get the whole HID kit or just the bulb?

You should do a proper retro-fit of the entire optics from a factory HID equipped car. This means projectors, shields, ballasts, and capsules.
Lacking that, as a fellow CA driver, I strongly request that you do NOT install a "HID kit". I am completely fed up with being blinded by asshats running HID capsules (HID does not use a "bulb", there is no filament) in headlights designed for the output of a halogen bulb.

it means you take HID projectors from one car such as TSX, BMW, Mercedes, ect. ect. and put them into headlights that don't have them. As for your car, the projectors you have are meant for halogen lighting, so if you want the best light output for your money, then I'd suggest replacing your current projectors with HID projectors

The cutoff is good on those shots.
However, the problem with HID in halogen lights (even projectors) is spread. The 3200 lumen output from a HID capsule is significantly brighter than the 1200 lumen output of a 9006 halogen bulb, and that extra light projected over the same area is wasted.
To use the brighter HID output, you need a wider beam pattern. Anything else, is just wasted foreground lighting, and actually hurts your ability to see past the headlamp limit.

Accord projectors are the same as the MDX halogen ones. No width but intensity is okay but at least there are barely any hot spots.
Just because something has projectors doesn't mean it is meant for HID's.
BTW, the pictures above, intensity looks good because the owner has HIDs in his low beams and fogs AND both of them are on.
